I eat (drink?) green smoothies. A lot.
Pretty much every day I have either a smoothie or a freshly extracted green juice, so there will be lots of juice and smoothie recipes on this blog. It’s an awesome way to get a glass full of nutrition that is also delicious!
Today’s smoothie was pretty high in fiber. So much so it was more of a chewy smoothie than a drinking one. But it was yummy!
I could have put it in a pretty glass and made a lovely refreshing looking picture for you. Instead, I’ll show you what it looks like when I drink it every day, right from the mixing cup of my magic bullet blender.
Here’s the recipe:
1 cup spinach
1 kale leaf (rib removed)
1 cup fresh pineapple
1 cup coconut water
1 T raw maca powder
Blend it up until smooth and drink up!
